Once Upon A Time in Port Coquitlam – A Book of Memories
The Port Coquitlam Heritage and Cultural Society is looking forward to 2013 when the City of Port Coquitlam will celebrate its 100th birthday. We are creating a Book of Memories from residents of Port Coquitlam as we can. Whether you are young or old, have lived here a short time or forever, e-mail your story to us at pocoheritage@portcoquitlam.ca or make your submission via the online form.
It can be as small as a sentence or a paragraph or as large as a page. Pictures of you or of Port Coquitlam to accompany your memory would be wonderful.

Display Centre Hours - (look for the red and blue "OPEN" sign)
Wednesday mornings 9am - 1pm
Thursday afternoons 1pm - 5pm
Sunday afternoons 1pm - 3pm
We will also open for special requests.
Port Coquitlam Heritage and Cultural Society

Established in 1988, the Society preserves Port Coquitlam's history and culture for future generations. The Society's members coordinate displays at the Centre, Port Coquitlam City Hall and the Terry Fox Library. These displays feature historical photographs, First Nations artifacts, tools, collectables, maps and antiques. They also catalogue historical photographs, newspaper and documents. The Society is building a collection of modern-day heritage related photographs and videos, which can be seen here. Please contact the Society if you have modern day photographs or videos that could be displayed on-line.
