As the senior standing committee of Council, the Finance and Intergovernmental Committee is responsible for reviewing all matters referred to the Committee that are related to the overall administration of the City including human resources, the City’s finances (including audit), other government organizations, and climate change. City Council or any member of Council individually, the Chief Administrative Officer, Director of Corporate Services and the Financial Officer may refer issues to the Committee for consideration and decision.

Committee Meeting Schedule

Finance and Intergovernmental (FIG) Committee meetings are regularly scheduled for 4:30 pm on the first and third Monday of the month. Contact the staff resource or review the Agendas & Minutes to confirm the date and time of the next FIG meeting.
