Healthy Community Committee

Responsible for reviewing matters pertaining to achievement recognition, civic festivals, cultural events, recreation facility maintenance and life cycle improvements, leisure activities, open space and sport field planning and maintenance, cemetery operations and liaison with a wide scope of community based groups. The overall objectives of the Committee are to enhance Port Coquitlam’s quality of life by nurturing the well being of its citizens, their communities and environments and to help the citizens grow and reach for their physical, social, emotional, spiritual and leadership potentials.

Meetings are held in the Community Room, downstairs at the Gathering Place in the Leigh Square Community Arts Village, 2253 Leigh Square, Port Coquitlam.
