Priorites
Maximize use of remaining land in the Dominion Triangle to create high
quality jobs for our residents so they can live, work and play in
Coquitlam
Develop tax incentives to encourage re-development of downtown and the northside of
o Tasked Smart Growth Committee with recommending solutions. Report to Council expected in 2009.
Develop a non-market housing strategy for
o Mayors Action Team on Homelessness (MATH), launched in March 2009 to address this issue.
Stabilize property tax increases over a five year period to allow residents and businesses to budget for the future.
