Dry Arena Sports

Ball Hockey - $2 Drop in

Enjoy recreational, non-contact drop in ball hockey organized by participants at the Port Coquitlam Rec Complex arena. Players supply their own sticks. No player maximum, 2 free goalie spots and opportunities rotated at discretion of staff.

Fee: Bring exact change to the skate shop before gaining access to the floor and receive proof of purchase sticker starting at 8:45pm.
Mandatory equipment:
CSA approved helmet (face cage optional for adults) and rentals available
Recommended equipment: hockey gloves and shin guards supplied by players.

Monday, April 10 to June 19 from 9 to 10:30pm (exceptions April 17 and May 22 stat holidays)

Learn and play ball hockey in a full sized arena, focus on fun, skill development and game strategies during non-contact scrimmage.

Mandatory equipment:
CSA Hockey helmet with full face cage (included in price of program if required)
Equipment supplied by players: stick (optional: hockey gloves and soccer shin guards)

Bike Programs

Little Sprockets
Be active and learn to develop new skills for life long enjoyment! Join Little Sprockets Level 1 (4-7yrs) to learn to ride independently or Little Sprockets Level 2 (4-10yrs) to learn to steer and break with confidence, ride on different surfaces, including small ramps and teeter tooters.

Spring programs occur indoors at the Rec Complex Green Arena. During the summer Level 1 remains indoors and Level 2 is be held at Gates Park. Register at www.experienceit.ca.

Private Bike Lessons
Staff and locations are booked based on availability. Indoor options are available in the afternoons in the spring and during the day in the summer. Call 604 927-7929 to book private lessons, one 30 minute lesson for $18 or a set of 5 for $81.

Trail Blazers (7 to 10yrs)

If you enjoy riding the PoCo Trails rain or shine, register for Trailblazers! Offered on Pro D Days in the spring and week long full day camps in the summer! Program includes trail etiquette, road safety, hand signals, shoulder checks and use of gears. Bikes with gears not required. Spring programs include swimming at the Hyde Creek and summer programs visit both indoor and outdoor pools. Program geared towards participants who can ride with confidence and long distances.
