Street Closure

Any Block Party to be held on a public street, including cul-de-sacs, requires a Block Party street closure permit. The City regularly monitors safety, traffic patterns and impacts of closures when considering applications. Collector and arterial routes are not eligible for Block party street closures.  Previous block party street closure approval does not guarantee approval.  Events held in public parks, on strata lots, or on private property do not require a street closure but may benefit from barricades to ensure the safety of participants.
