Nominate a Port Coquitlam business for our Best Biz Awards! Make your nomination great: Review the criteria and provide lots of information about how this business goes above and beyond. No need for multiple nominations: Businesses only need to be nominated once to be considered for an award.
Critieria
- All nominees must operate in Port Coquitlam and hold a valid Port Coquitlam business licence.
- All types of business, of any size, may be nominated.
- Anyone can nominate a business, and businesses are encourage to self-nominate.
- Businesses may be nominated in one of four categories:
- Small Business of the Year (1 to 15 employees): Has drawn positive attention to Port Coquitlam through its business success, innovation or marketing, shows leadership in social and cultural responsibility through volunteerism, advocacy, sponsorship, financial and in-kind contributions, provides excellent customer service.
- Big Business of the Year (16+ employees): Has drawn positive attention to Port Coquitlam through its business success, innovation or marketing, shows leadership in social and cultural responsibility through volunteerism, advocacy, sponsorship, financial and in-kind contributions, provides excellent customer service.
- Home-based Business of the Year: Demonstrated significant growth and sustainability in business operations and a commitment to excellent customer service, shown creativity and innovation in overcoming the common challenges facing small businesses.
- Entrepreneur of the Year (someone who is launching or has launched a business within the past three years): Has developed an innovative business concept with good development potential, has shown creativity and innovation in overcoming the challenges faced by new businesses, has shined a light on Port Coquitlam by attracting attention regionally.
- Late nominations will not be accepted.
