2018-2019 Capital Program

The capital budget funds the replacement and renewal of infrastructure, which includes the City’s road and utility networks, buildings, vehicles and equipment.

A two-year capital program ensures multiple competitive bids are received for projects, by designing and tendering the projects a year in advance of construction. During the annual budget process, the City reviews and updates the current year’s capital budget as necessary, and plans for the following year’s projects.
