2019-2020 Capital Program
Adopted in October 2018, the $87-million 2019-2020 Capital Plan builds on the 2018-2019 plan with a continued focus on renewing core infrastructure such as roads, utilities, parks, facilities and technology.
The capital budget funds the replacement and renewal of infrastructure, which includes the City’s road and utility networks, buildings, vehicles and equipment. A two-year capital program ensures multiple competitive bids are received for projects, by designing and tendering the projects a year in advance of construction.
