Traboulay Trail Closure

The City has been advised by Kwikwetlem First Nations (KFN) that a section of the Traboulay trail will be closed for approximately 2 months due to safety concerns for trail users while the KFN works along the western edge of their site. read more…

Smoking and Campfires Banned in City Parks

Effective immediately, smoking and open air burning are banned from all City of Port Coquitlam parks, trails and natural areas as a high fire danger rating has been issued for the region.

Trail Paving Closure

Watch for trail closures between Gates Park and Lions Park as trail repairs start Monday, June 11 for approximately 2 weeks. Please take the alternate route to join up on the Traboulay Trail as indicated by signage posted in area.

Burning

The City was advised on Tuesday by the Kwikwetlem First Nations that they will be burning land clearing debris (i.e. tree branches) over a 24 hour period. We have now been advised that the burning will continue for the rest of the week.  read more…
