With this heavy rainfall, and the rains forecasted to continue, the City would like to help ensure residents and businesses are prepared for any potential flooding by providing access to sand.
Due to the rainfall warning in effect BC Hydro is conducting a controlled spill of the Coquitlam Dam to ensure that we have room in the reservoir to absorb this next storm.
Over 10 cm of snow and crews are are working hard to clear through all priority 1 routes as they keep up with the snowfall, however, rapidly accumulating snow has made it challenging to keep up but we are getting those roads cleared as quickly as we can. read more…

Check the holiday hours of City facilities as some facilities are opened on stat holidays, but with limited hours.
Hyde Creek Recreation centre is closed for its annual maintenance until September 15, 2019
The Hyde Creek Recreation Centre will be closed on Monday July 1 due to a planned power outage by BC Hydro.
