Air Quality Index

The quality of our air affects not only our quality of life, but also our health. There are thousands of sources of air pollutants in the region, ranging from vehicles to industrial plants, from bulk refueling stations to home furnaces.

Metro Vancouver tracks the most common air pollutants and manages outdoor air quality and odour complaints throughout the region.
