The City of Port Coquitlam has a very active youth community group. With large numbers of PoCo Youth utilizing drop-in programs at Hyde Creek Recreation Youth Centre, the Port Coquitlam Community Centre games room, and Wilson Lounge, all youth participants will be required to obtain youth memberships beginning Mar.15, 2022.

The PoCo Youth Membership is a free annual membership that provides youth, ages 11-18, entry and access to equipment during youth drop-in programming.

Introducing the Youth Membership requirement, will provide a better tracking system of participation in activities and programs, as well as enhanced safety for participants.

The City’s Recreation also offers an upgraded membership – PoCo Youth Membership PLUS for a $15 annual fee. The PLUS membership provides youth access to drop-in gym sessions such as volleyball, basketball, and other special events for free and discounts on some registered programs for youth.
