​Port Coquitlam has a number of fun activities planned if you’re looking for something to do with your family on Family Day – Monday, February 20.

Family Day drop-in activities include skating, swimming, performances and more. There is something for all ages and abilities.

Gathering Place – Michael Wright Art Gallery

African Traditional Dance Performance (Free)
1 -2 p.m.
In celebration of Black History Month, experience a traditional African dance performance, brought to Port Coquitlam by the Africana School of Performing Arts. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. No pre-registration.

Interactive Drumming Show (Free)
3 – 4 p.m.
FUN hands on Afro-Peruvian drumming show for all ages. Release your Rhythm in this energetic, tapping, clapping, drumming experience.

The Outlet
PoCo Heritage Museum (Free)
9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Family Day Heritage Writers’ Group (Free)
10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Start capturing your life story for family and posterity! Join us in person at the museum to begin recording your favourite stories. The theme for this month is Winter Mornings.
