Get Funding and Help for Your Project in Port Coquitlam
The City of Port Coquitlam is now accepting the applications for the following two grant programs.
Self-Help Matching Grant Program – Application Deadline – April 1
Non-profit Port Coquitlam organizations, including sport, arts, environmental, parent/teacher and community-service groups are eligible to apply for matching funds between $1,000 and $10,000 for a future capital project that will take place within Port Coquitlam.
Projects are for assets and can include new specialized equipment, new construction or upgrades of community facilities, sports fields, parks, playgrounds, environmental habitat, and indoor sports areas.
A review committee will rank applications based on community support, public benefit, project budget and design. The decisions will be announced by the end of July.
Community Cultural Development Investment Program (CCD) – Deadline – April 30
The first round of applications are now being accepted for the Community Cultural Development Investment Program (CCD) for qualifying Port Coquitlam organizations that offer quality arts and heritage activities to the community.
The program accepts applications for specific categories throughout the year, beginning with the April 30 deadline for the Project Category, which supports one-time or ongoing projects, programs, events and festivals.
Last year’s successful Project Category applicants included the annual Polish Culture and Heritage Day, Art Focus Artist Association’s art shows and demonstrations, educational activity booklet from the Hyde Creek Watershed Society, Downtown Port Coquitlam Car Show by the PoCo Events Society and connecting community to Port Coquitlam’s natural history through PoCo Heritage Trees.
