Make a Reservation Online at One of the City’s Park Shelters

The City of Port Coquitlam is now accepting park shelter reservations at four of its parks starting today, May 2, 2022.

Park shelters provide comfortable spaces to host birthday parties, family get-togethers, office parties and other outdoor fun.

Reservations are being accepted at the following City parks:

  • Castle Park (1144 Confederation Drive)
  • Lions Park (2300 Lions Way)
  • Peace Park (1470 Kebet Way)
  • Settlers Park (1250 Confederation Drive)

Visitors and residents can view the availability of each park shelter, specific details such as parking, waste disposal, restrooms and more online at portcoquitlam.ca/register. Bookings can be viewed in real-time up to 180 days out (six months). Choose from one of two defined four-hour rental blocks:

  • 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and
  • 3:00 to 7:00 p.m

Once a park shelter has been selected, pay online and instantly receive a permit once payment is complete.

Park shelter reservations are $70 per four hour booking for residents and $84 per four hour booking for visitors. A reservation guarantees use of the shelter and includes all picnic tables within the shelter and electricity where available. Other park amenities, such as playgrounds and restrooms, are shared with the public.

Any issues, concerns or questions, please email bookings@portcoquitlam.ca or call 604.927.7900 and a Recreation staff member will help. The City maintains a total of 266 hectares of parkland and natural areas, as well as park sites, playgrounds, sport fields, tennis courts, sport courts, outdoor pools and 46km of trails, including the 25-km Traboulay PoCo Trail.
