MEDIA RELEASE: Tell The City About Your Customer Service Experience To Win
PORT COQUITLAM, BC – May 28, 2021…Have you dealt with the City of Port Coquitlam in the past year? How was the service?
In its new customer service survey, Port Coquitlam is asking residents, businesses and others who have dealt with the City – whether in person, on the phone or online – for feedback about their experience. Those who complete the online survey in full by June 30 will be entered to win one of four $50 gift cards to a Port Coquitlam business of their choice.
“Part of our commitment to our community is to provide excellent service, and to do that, we need to take stock of how we’re doing,” Mayor Brad West said. “We’re always open to hearing from our residents and businesses – was their concern dealt with, did we meet their needs and is there an opportunity to learn and improve our service in the future.
Posted at portcoquitlam.ca/customerservice, the survey will ask respondents about their specific experiences dealing with the City, including their level of satisfaction with the service they received and whether or not their issue was resolved.
The survey will also collect feedback on the various online services people have used during the pandemic and their satisfaction with them.
“We have a great team of staff at the City who work very hard and are committed to delivering the best service to our community,” noted the City’s new Chief Administrative Officer, Rob Bremner, who started in February. “As a newcomer to Port Coquitlam, this survey will also be a great way for me to get a feel for the City’s relationship with the community and if there are better ways we can serve our community.”
As part of its ongoing support of businesses through the pandemic, the City will be offering four $50 gift cards to Port Coquitlam businesses as prizes. To be eligible to be entered in the random prize draw, respondents must complete the survey in full. One entry will be accepted per person.
The survey results are confidential and anonymous. After the survey closes on June 30, the City will consider the results as part of upcoming organizational development and business planning work.
