Registration Spots Available For Rotary May Day Parade

Calling all businesses, vendors, restaurants and organizations to join the fun by participating in the upcoming 99th Annual Rotary May Day parade.

Held in downtown Port Coquitlam, the Rotary May Day parade is one of the longest-running, iconic community parades in the Lower Mainland. In 2019, the parade included 100 participants, lasted 1.5 hours and was enjoyed by 12,000 spectators from throughout Metro Vancouver. This annual event is a full day of entertainment and family-fun activities, including bands, floats, dancers and fire trucks.

Businesses, not-for-profits organizations and other groups can register until Apr. 8 to join the parade. Commercial float entry is $75, incorporate nonprofit or municipal is $25 and unincorporated nonprofit are at no charge.

The Port Coquitlam Rotary May Day parade is a fun-filled creative day of artistic, musical and theatrical activities and performances for all children and families.

Application to register as a parade entrant is available at rotarymayday.ca.
