Spread More Holiday Joy! Make the Cover of the City’s Christmas Card
Once again Port Coquitlam is inviting children and youth to help spread more cheer this holiday season by submitting holiday-themed artwork by Sun. Nov. 27.
Last year over 50 pieces of artwork were submitted and displayed in various areas of the City and the cover of the City’s Christmas card. Like last year, the artwork will be displayed on the cover of the annual Mayor and Council holiday cards sent to key stakeholders, volunteers and community groups in December. The City once again, will be sending these cards to all seniors living in Port Coquitlam long-term care homes with a personalized message from Mayor and Council.
The submitted artwork will also be posted on the City’s website, social media and outdoor signage throughout the holiday season. A digital version of the cards with the selected artwork will be available for free download on the City website by Dec. 5 for residents to print and share with loved ones.
The artwork should include holiday and winter-themed positive messages and be submitted by Nov. 27 to portcoquitlam.ca/artwork. The submissions must be high-quality jpeg, png, gif or PDF’s of drawings, paintings, crafts, handwritten notes or other forms of expression. The cards are seven inches wide by five inches high.
This project continues to build on inspiring and providing encouraging messages by reinforcing community spirit – PoCo proud which features children’s artwork on signs, billboards and online.
