At approximately 7:30am a suspicious package was reported near Leigh Square in Port Coquitlam.  The RCMP were on-site to investigate the situation. Additional resources were called in to assess the situation. City Hall, the Gathering Place and the Outlet were evacuated as a precaution.

At approximately 10:00 am, the RCMP cleared the package as there were no public safety concerns. City facilities are now reopen and it’s business as usual. All programs and events are back on.
