Dec. 14, 2022 — Sightings of a coyote have been reported around Minnekhada Middle School and Hyde Creek trail access points. BC Conservation Office has been notified. Please be extra cautious in this area.

Keep your pets safe inside or controlled on a leash at all times, keep your waste secure, and never feed wildlife. If a coyote approaches you, make yourself appear large, maintain eye contact, and speak in a low firm voice or shout.
