May 3, 2023 — A crosswalk installation is taking place from May 3-12 McAllister Ave which will require varying road closures and pedestrian detours.

From May 3-7, the pedestrian portion of the crosswalk will be painted — there will not be a road closure during this time. From May 8 – 12, the road section of the crosswalk will be painted which will require a partial road closure on McAllister Ave.  Cars will not be able to go in front of The Outlet. A detour will be in place from McAllister Ave to Elgin Ave.

The crosswalk mural was designed by visual artist Sandeep Johal, who is known for creating murals that embody brightness, hope and beauty.
