Minnekhada Park Fire Update #6 – Oct. 5

A little good news…making progress. The fire is mostly limited to low underbrush and is unlikely to spread. Minnekhada Park continues to remains closed. Good morning from Minnekhada Regional Park. The fire line held overnight, and ground crews are directly suppressing hotspots throughout the park. Intermittent smoke may still be seen today, especially from the cliff-side areas
