Feb. 23, 2023 — Night work will be taking place on the Lougheed-Meridian Connector on Feb. 23 to complete an essential repair to our water system. The work will start at 9pm. The left-most turning lane (going north onto Coast Meridian Road) will be closed. The second northbound turn lane will be open. The leftmost southbound lane (on the opposite side of the median) may also be partially closed. Traffic control will be in place. This work is being completed at night to cause the least disruption to traffic and businesses. There may be noise as the work is completed, but crews will work to minimize it as much as possible.
