Due to the rainfall warning in effect BC Hydro is conducting a controlled spill of the Coquitlam Dam to ensure that we have room in the reservoir to absorb this next storm.

Please take caution around fast-flowing rivers & potentially unstable riverbanks. Please also keep your pets on a leash and small children close to you.

We have closures in place for the following areas:

• Traboulay trail, under the Kingsway bridge between downtown/Lions park
• Westside of Traboulay trail, under the Kingsway bridge
• North side parking lot entrance of Gates Park, by the tennis court
