Snow Update #17

Dec. 23, 2022 – 7am

City crews are monitoring this weather event closely as they work through the day on snow and ice control on Priority 1 routes. Please avoid travel if at all possible as this expected to transition to freezing rain. Upcoming activities: Streets:

• All available equipment is working and focused on snow and ice control on our priority 1 routes.

Parks:

• Parks crew have deployed crews and equipment to do priority 1 trails and sidewalk

Closures:

Terry Fox Library is closed
Community Police Stations – Closed
Recreation Centres will open at 8 am.

We have all hands on deck to working on all streets and parks crews and equipment are working on clearing activities. Stay safe Port Coquitlam and please avoid essential travel.
