Preschool Lessons (4 months to 6 years)
The City of Port Coquitlam offers Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life parent and tot and preschool programs. Swim for Life Parent and Tot structures in-water interaction between the parent/caregiver and the child to stress the importance of play in developing water-positive attitudes and skills.
Preschool program ensures children become comfortable in the water and have fun developing a foundation of water skills.
Features of this program include a progress book so participants can easily track their success, stickers for level completion, and a smoother transition into the Swim for Life Swimmer Program. This exciting program has 8 levels of swim progressions for children aged 4 months through to 5 years.
