Winter in the City
Start the holiday season off with a days of fun filled Christmas activities.
Come celebrate the spirit of community and the start of the holidays with Leigh Square! Families can take part in art making, listening to holiday tunes, and more all before the Annual Lighting event.
Kick off to the PoCo Heritage Christmas Tree Festival. Families can take part in official lighting ceremony, holiday craft making and storytelling, face painting, music and entertainment, artist and artisan vendors and pictures with Santa.

Christmas in Leigh Square
Winter Artisan Market – Fri Nov 24, 12-8 pm and Sat Nov 25, 10 am-6 pm

Lighting of Leigh Square – Sat Nov 25, 1-5 pm
Our annual lighting event with entertainment, carols, crafts, photos with Santa and more. Free.
Heritage Tree Festival – Sat Nov 25 -Sun Dec 31

Skate with santa – Sun Dec 17, 1:15-3:45 pm
Join our Sparks, Girl Guides, and Pathfinders from the Hyde Creek district as we will be singing Christmas Carols while collecting gently used warm coats.
If you have a coat you no longer wear and would like to donate it, please drop by and see the girls and they will make sure the coat gets to someone who can really use one this winter.

CP Holiday Train Dec 17
Watch the Canadian Pacific Railway’s Holiday Train roll into town at the West Coast Express station, with performances, caroling, crafts and more. Bring a donation for SHARE’s food bank. Click here for more info.
