The City has closed the Port Coquitlam Community Centre, Hyde Creek Centre, Terry Fox Library, Outlet and the Gathering Place. Services are also being limited at City Hall and other city facilities to help slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The PoCo Grand Prix is a criterium bike race which is part of BC Superweek and features Pro/Am male and female cyclists from around the world competing for their spot on the podium.

The race features a mass start and a 1.3-kilometre circuit that cyclists will navigate for 40-65 laps. Male and female cyclists will whiz by about every minute, making for an exciting spectator experience. The day will also include races for children and youth, and a Corporate Challenge relay race.

Held the second week of July each year, featuring 9 pro races over the course of 10 days, has fast become one of the most prestigious pro-cycling events in North America with a total prize purse of more than $120,000! Featuring 6 separate events as part of the series, BC Superweek consists of the Tour de Delta, New West Grand Prix, Global Relay Gastown Grand Prix, Giro di Burnaby, PoCo Grand Prix, and Tour de White Rock.
