Orientations are designed to introduce volunteers to new volunteer areas and roles. They are usually run by individual departments in order to make sure that the information provided is both accurate and specific to each function area. Volunteers will have the opportunity to meet their volunteer supervisor(s), along with other prospective volunteers, ask questions, tour the facilities they will be volunteering out of and learn more about the various opportunities available to them.
An orientation is required as part of the volunteer application process for all Recreation program areas following acceptance into the volunteer program. For information on upcoming Orientation dates, visit MyVolunteerPage or contact the Volunteer Program Supervisor.
