Businesses are invited to secure their spot at the Winter Artisan Market on Saturday November 30, 2024, at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC) gymnasium.
This market, part of the Winter in the City – Christmas in the Square event, provides an opportunity for local businesses to showcase their products to hundreds of attendees.
Held from noon to 8:00 p.m., the market-style event encourages the community to shop local for their goods.
The City is seeking vendors offering high-quality handcrafted or independently made products. Vendors selling prepared food must adhere to Fraser Health guidelines, and all participants must have a minimum $2 million in Commercial General Liability Insurance.
Vendors will be selected based on a variety of factors, including quality, originality, price, artistic talent, booth display, and the environmental sustainability of their products.
Vendor fees are as follows:
- $25 for Port Coquitlam businesses and non-profits
- $75 for non-Port Coquitlam businesses
Participating businesses will also receive promotion on the City’s website and through online advertising. Early registration is encouraged to secure a spot by Oct. 31. Successful applicants will receive further information in early November.
Entrance to the Winter Artisan Market is free to the public and includes interactive displays, free giveaways and prizes. The market will be located at PCCC gymnasium as part of the Christmas in the Square event on November 30, with live entertainment, displays, free family activities, beverage garden and more. Details will be posted closer to the event at portcoquitlam.ca/winterinthecity.
