Pink Shirt Day

Pink Shirt Day is held on the last Wednesday of February each year. The national anti-bullying movement started in 2007 after students in Nova Scotia rallied around a boy who was bullied for wearing a pink shirt.

Wear pink on February 25, 2026 to show support for a kinder, more inclusive community.

Activities

  • Hands-on activities for all ages: Participants of all ages can enjoy hands-on, creative, and connection-building activities led by the PoCo Youth Leadership Group at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre on Wednesday, February 25, from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m., including:
    • Colouring sheets – promote calm creativity while reinforcing messages of kindness and inclusion.
