Connect with your community this Canada Day! A free all-day event including live music, family-friendly entertainment, beverage garden, eats from local food trucks, market vendors, fireworks and more. Bring your family and friends, grab your beach chairs and blankets and enjoy all the festivities.

Shop for fresh, local goods at the Port Coquitlam Farmers Market this summer!

Location: Terry Fox Hometown Square (on Kelly Ave behind Port Coquitlam Community Centre)
The market features locally grown vegetables and fruit, homemade baking, and more artisan-made goods. There are also lots of local businesses in our downtown core to explore!

Celebrate Pride in PoCo! This family-friendly event — part of our lineup of Music in the Park events — reflects our commitment to removing barriers and developing welcoming, inclusive and safe places for the City’s diverse populations, including the LGBT2SQ+ community and gender-diverse people. The event is organized with the involvement of Port Coquitlam’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Roundtable (EDI).

Join Lions Park Artist-in-Residence, Nickie Lewis, for free creative workshops at Lions Park. Nickie will be working on “Mix and Match Creatures” – a community engaged sculptural project where workshop participants will assist the artist in creating creatures from natural materials found in Lions Park. To finish her summer residency and celebrate our creative community, Nickie will be hosting a free public event in Lions Park on August 24, 2024.
