Office of the Chief Administrative Officer

The Chief Administrative Officer and Deputy provide organizational leadership to all City staff and work closely with department directors to ensure a commitment to a high level of public service in delivery of the goals and priorities set by Council.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate the activities of all departments
  • Assist Council to establish the City’s vision, plans and priorities
  • Oversee the development of revenue-generation initiatives and other strategic projects
  • Oversee the implementation of the City’s vision, plans and priorities by:
    • Ensuring effective policies are in place and adhered to
    • Providing leadership that enables an engaged and productive municipal workforce

RCMP (Contracted Service)

Coquitlam RCMP provides policing services on a contract basis and serves more than 200,000 residents across Anmore, Belcarra, Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam.
