Watering Permit for Nematodes Application

Nematodes are microscopic organisms that can control European Chafer beetles and are most effective when applied around late July and mid-August.  Residents can apply for a Water Exemption Permit to sufficiently water their treated lawns.

An approved permit is valid for a period of 21 days between May 1 to October 15. Permits will be issued within 3-5 business days of application date. This permit allows watering outside of the restricted days and times, within the permit’s validity period.

Note: This permit is only valid during Stage 1 water restriction levels and will not be renewed if the region moves into Stage 2, 3 or 4 water restriction levels. Permits issued in Stages 1 remain in effect until permit expires.
