Watering Permit for Nematode Application

Nematodes are microscopic organisms that can control European Chafer Beetles. They are most effective when applied around late July and mid-August.

As your lawn must be watered thoroughly before and after a nematode application, you can apply for a watering permit for nematode application to sufficiently water treated lawns during lawn watering restrictions.

  • Approved permits allow for watering outside of the restricted days and times, within the permit’s validity period.

  • Approved permits are valid for a period of 21 days from the permit issue date, between May 1 to October 15.

  • The permit will remain valid for the duration stated or until Stage 3 restrictions come into effect. No new permits will be issued once Stage 3 restrictions are in force. Once Stage 3 restrictions are in force, all permits will be immediately invalid. No refunds will be issued.

Approved permits will be issued within 3-5 business days of applying.

*Please note: This is a watering permit for nematodes application. If you are applying to water a new lawn growing by seed or sod, apply for a watering permit here.
