Boost Your Brand and Connect With the Community as a Port Coquitlam Sponsor

News

The City of Port Coquitlam is inviting businesses and organizations to participate in its Sponsorship Program, offering opportunities to build brand awareness through high-attendance community events, festivals and programs.

Signature Event Opportunities

Signature events such as May Days and Canada Day each attract more than 20,000 attendees annually, providing strong exposure and a direct connection with local audiences.

May Days is one of the City’s most established celebrations, featuring a family-friendly kids’ race, a vibrant parade and a lively Party in the Square. The event also includes kids’ carnival rides along Kelly Avenue and a beverage garden, with programming typically offered across two stages, a dedicated kids’ stage in Leigh Square and a main stage in Terry Fox Hometown Square.

Canada Day, held in Castle Park, offers a relaxed, family-friendly “picnic in the park” atmosphere with a main stage, food trucks, vendors, activities for all ages, and a beverage garden, creating multiple opportunities for sponsor visibility throughout the park.

PoCo Street Festival (Car Free Day) transforms downtown Port Coquitlam into a pedestrian-friendly celebration with vendors, entertainment, activities and participation from local community groups. The event features two stages, a dedicated kids’ stage and a main stage, supporting high visibility across the festival area.
