Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC) is a vibrant community hub that brings a variety of amenities to the community, including three arenas with a concession, a gymnasium, leisure pool, fitness centre, multi-purpose rooms, a youth center, senior’s center and kitchen and the Terry Fox Library. The PCCC is Certified Gold by the Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification Program (RHFAC). The RHFAC is a national rating system that measures and certifies the level of meaningful access of buildings and sites.

Swimming pool
- Two “Everyone Welcome” accessible shower and change rooms, as well as an additional shower and change room with an electronic adult change table, a lift for assistance and a two-way radio for emergencies.

- Sloped, zero entry into the pool. The far-right side of the pool has a ramp with handrails.
- Sloped, zero entry with handrails into the hot tub
- Benches situated in the center island of the Lazy River on both the north and south sides.
- Bench seating located on the east side wall of the pool includes jets for the back and feet for therapeutic purposes.
- Water wheelchairs available to borrow.
Arenas
- Universal dressing room and shower (shower with a seat and wider benches)
- Designated wheelchair viewing area in John Baillie Arena
- Accessible washrooms
- Players bench in Arena 3 are features clear boards at the bottom for sledge hockey participants to watch the game
Adaptive Fitness Equipment
- 1st Floor
- Chest Press seat swings out so that a wheelchair can pull up and use the equipment without having to transfer
- Row/Rear Delt machine seat swings out so that a wheelchair can pull up and use the equipment without having to transfer
- Therapy treadmill has handrails all the way to the end of the machine and starts at a slower pace than other treadmills
- Raised stretching mat to make standing back up or transferring easier
- Seats on bikes are at a height that makes it easy to transfer from a chair/walker
- Ski Machine adjustable to any height
- Adjustable height on most equipment that will allow for someone in a wheelchair to use with ease
- Straps allow for someone to use with limited grip strength. Users can put hand in the loop and not close or use forearm/elbow
- 2nd Floor
- Rowing machines upstairs with an adapted seat (with a back) option
- Dual Cable Cross machine with adjustable heights for the arms
