Farmers Market Nutrition Coupon Program

The Farmers Market Nutrition Coupon Program (FMNCP) is a healthy eating initiative from the BC Association of Farmers Markets that supports and strengthens food security across Canada.

From June through September, the annual Port Coquitlam Farmers Market provides fresh food and produce to community residents.  The City of Port Coquitlam and the Wilson Seniors Advisory Board support the Farmers Market Coupon Program which provides weekly coupons to eligible Port Coquitlam residents.

Applying to the Farmers Market Coupon Program does not guarantee approval. Due to the high volume of applications and available funding resources, only successful applicants will be contacted during the first week of June 2026.

Are you approved for the 2026 Individual Financial Assistance Program through the City of Port Coquitlam's Recreation Department?
 Proof of residency is required.

Provide one of the following: 

  • Eligibility letter (from Social Worker, Case Manager, Pastor, BC Housing)
  • Photocopy of a Notice of Deposit (from Ministry of Social Development Office) · Confirmation of Assistance Statement (myselfserve.gov.bc.ca)
  • Copy of Income Tax 2025 Notice of Assessment or Income Statement
