Port Coquitlam, BC, June 17, 2024. . . The City is excited to welcome Canadian singer-songwriter and musician Daniel Wesley, known for his laid-back, beach-inspired sound that blends elements of rock, reggae, and acoustic music to create a distinctive and mellow vibe.
Wesley began his music career in the early 2000s and gained significant attention with his 2007 album "Outlaw," which features one of his most popular songs, "Ooo Ohh." His subsequent albums, including "Sing + Dance" (2008), "Easy Livin'" (2011), and "I Am Your Man" (2015), have continued to showcase his talent for catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics. His music often reflects his coastal upbringing, with themes of love, nature, and relaxation.
"I'm thrilled to announce that Daniel Wesley is joining our lineup for the City's annual Canada Day event at Castle Park, along with headliner Tim Hicks," Mayor Brad West said. "We have exceptional entertainment to activities for the whole family, celebrating everything that makes Port Coquitlam and Canada special. I look forward to another great celebration this year."
