PoCo Post Winter 2025/26 Now Available

The City of Port Coquitlam is pleased to announce the release of the Winter 2025/26 edition of the PoCo Post, the City’s community newsletter designed to connect residents with local news, programs, and seasonal events. The Winter edition is now available for free pick-up at civic facilites and online.

This colourful community publication is a seasonal guide to winter life in Port Coquitlam and highlights a wide variety of programs, services and community activities, including:

  • Community celebrations and festive events such as the CPKC Holiday Train, holiday skates and local winter activities
  • A Christmas message from the Mayor and 2025 City highlights, including Terry Fox sculptures, capital investments, new amenities and community events
  • Winter recreation programs, camps, skating, swimming, fitness, arts and culture programming for all ages
  • City services and safety reminders, including winter weather preparedness, snow removal priorities, sidewalk clearing requirements, fire safety tips and waste collection updates
  • Opportunities for civic engagement, including the 2026 budget, Council meetings and community calendars

The Winter issue also provides a preview of upcoming spring programs and events, including registration dates, Earth Day, May Days and the Public Works Open House.

The PoCo Post Winter Edition is available for free pick-up at high-traffic locations throughout the community, including:

  • City Hall (2580 Shaughnessy Street)
  • Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC) (2150 Wilson Avenue)
  • Hyde Creek Recreation Centre (HC) (1379 Laurier Avenue)
  • Terry Fox Library (2150 Wilson Avenue)
  • Other key City facilities
  • Local senior homes, to ensure wider access for residents
