Spring 2026 Poco Post Now Available

The City of Port Coquitlam has released the Spring 2026 edition of the PoCo Post, featuring information on upcoming community events, recreation opportunities, capital projects, and seasonal City services and reminders. The Spring edition is now available for free pick-up at civic facilities and online.

This colourful community publication is a seasonal guide to spring in Port Coquitlam and highlights a wide variety of programs, services and community activities, including:

  • Spring community events and seasonal celebrations such as Earth Day, May Days, the Public Works Open House and Repair Café dates. 

  • Recreation programs and activities for all ages, including spring registration, Youth Week, Seniors Week, swimming, skating, arts, culture, camps and summer registration information. 

  • Early summer highlights, including the Farmers Market, City Wide Garage Sale, Canada Day, Music in the Square, Cinema Under the Stars, Pride in PoCo and Car Free Day

  • Infrastructure and community improvement updates, including major City projects and capital investments. 

  • City services and seasonal reminders, including watermain flushing, utility bill due dates, bear-aware information, Earth Day initiatives and environmental programs. 

The Spring issue also features details on the 103rd May Days celebration, including opening ceremonies, the May Day Parade and registration information for the popular Kids’ Bike Race. 

The PoCo Post Spring Edition is available for free pick-up at high-traffic locations throughout the community, including:

  • City Hall (2580 Shaughnessy Street)

  • Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC) (2150 Wilson Avenue)

  • Hyde Creek Recreation Centre (HC) (1379 Laurier Avenue)

  • Terry Fox Library (2150 Wilson Avenue)

  • Other key City facilities 

  • Local senior homes, to ensure wider access for residents

Residents can also access the digital version online at portcoquitlam.ca/pocopost, ensuring everyone can stay connected and informed.
