Summer 2026 PoCo Post Now Available

The City of Port Coquitlam has released the Summer 2026 edition of the PoCo Post, featuring information on upcoming community events, recreation opportunities, parks and trails, and seasonal City services and reminders. The Summer edition is now available for free pick-up at civic facilities and online. 

This colourful community publication is a seasonal guide to summer in Port Coquitlam and highlights a wide variety of programs, services, and community activities, including: 

  • Summer community events and seasonal celebrations such as Canada Day, PoCo's Soccer Socials, Music in the Square, Cinema Under the Stars, the PoCo Car Show, Pride in PoCo, and Car Free Day. 

  • Recreation programs and activities for all ages, including summer camps, outdoor pools and spray parks, public skating, arts programs, and fall registration information. 

  • Parks, trails, and outdoor living highlights, including the Traboulay PoCo Trail, Gates Park Soccer Hub updates, and Lions Park. 

  • Family fun recreation ideas, including free gallery programs, dance workshops, the Skateboard and Scooter Jam, and the Summer Reading Club at the Terry Fox Library. 

  • City services and seasonal reminders, including fire safety, heat preparedness, bear-aware information, and water restrictions. 

  • Municipal Election 2026 information and volunteer opportunities. 

The PoCo Post Summer Edition is available for free pick-up at high-traffic locations throughout the community, including: 

  • City Hall (2580 Shaughnessy Street) 

  • Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC) (2150 Wilson Avenue) 

  • Hyde Creek Recreation Centre (HC) (1379 Laurier Avenue) 

  • Terry Fox Library (2150 Wilson Avenue) 

  • Other key City facilities 

  • Local senior homes, to ensure wider access for residents
