Port Coquitlam businesses are invited to secure their spot at the annual Canada Day Biz Market on Saturday July 1, 2023.
The Canada Day Market provides local businesses with an opportunity to showcase their products and services to the thousands of people who attend the annual Canada Day event.
Held from noon to 6:00 p.m., the market-style event encourages the community to shop local for their goods and services.
Businesses can sell their products as well as provide samples, coupons and 'give-aways'. Food sales are not permitted unless prepacked.
The cost to participate for Port Coquitlam businesses:
- $25 Port Coquitlam non-profit businesses
- $50 Port Coquitlam businesses
Non-Port Coquitlam businesses:
- $75 Non-profit businesses
- $100 businesses
All participating businesses will also be promoted on the City website and advertised in the Tri-City News (if registered by June 16). More details can be found at portcoquitlam.ca/canadaday.
As space is limited, early registration is recommended to secure a spot. Participation is available to all businesses holding a valid Port Coquitlam business license.
Entrance to the Canada Day Market is free to the public and includes interactive displays, free giveaways and prizes. The market will be located at Castle Park along Castle Crescent as part of the Canada Day event on July 1, with live entertainment, displays, food trucks and free family activities.
