Port Coquitlam continues to receive stunning photos of the City’s natural beauty and is inviting residents to submit their images for the 2025 Community City calendar by September 22, 2024.
The City is seeking photos of landscapes and scenes from all four seasons that highlight the area’s beauty, such as flowers, wildlife, and broader natural settings. Photos that clearly show they were taken in Port Coquitlam are preferred over close-up shots.
Submit high-resolution images of Port Coquitlam’s landscapes, flowers, and wildlife by Sept. 22 at portcoquitlam.ca/photos for a chance to have them featured in the 2025 community calendar, wrapped on hydro utility boxes, or displayed in City facilities next year.
To increase the chance of selection, photos should feature Port Coquitlam’s natural surroundings and depict scenes from all four seasons.
The City’s 2025 community calendar, titled Naturally PoCo, will include the waste collection schedule, City information, and space for personal notes.
All submitted photos will be showcased in an online gallery at portcoquitlam.ca/photos by the end of this year and considered for use in the calendar, on hydro utility boxes, and in other City publications. Photo credits will be provided for all selected images.
Submission Guidelines:
- Format: jpeg, png, or tiff
- Orientation: horizontal for calendar use
- Size: at least 300 dpi at 13″ wide by 10″ deep or a file size of at least 2 MB
- Label: include the photo name, location, year taken, and photographer’s name (e.g., Scenic Sunset-Pitt River-2021-Bob Smith.jpg)
The glossy calendar will be delivered to Port Coquitlam homes by the end of November 2024.
