Delicious food will be available from the Stackers food truck. To add to the festive atmosphere, the Leigh Square fountain shows will run at 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
The event will also host a City info booth and showcase performances by talented 2SLGBTQI+ community members and gender diverse artists. Featured performers include:
- Carrie Dawn
- Scarlett Rosé
- Rich Elle
- Androgynass
Pride in PoCo is part of the broader Pride Season, which sees a wide range of events across Canada from June to September celebrating 2SLGBTQI+ and gender diverse people. In recognition of this special day, Port Coquitlam City Hall will be illuminated in rainbow colors on July 20.
This celebration aligns with a key priority identified by the City’s Community Mosaic Roundtable (CMR), launched five years ago, to welcome and celebrate all people, including 2SLGBTQI+ communities.
