Jon Baillie Arena To Host WHL Pre-Season Showdown

PORT COQUITLAM, BC – August 13, 2025… Get ready, hockey fans! The highly anticipated Western Hockey League (WHL) pre-season game is returning to Port Coquitlam this fall, featuring an exciting matchup between the Vancouver Giants and the Victoria Royals at the Jon Baillie Arena within the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC).

The Jon Baillie Arena will host one WHL pre-season game:

•    Wednesday September 10 at 7:00 p.m. Vancouver Giants vs. Victoria Royals

"Hosting these pre-season games not only brings high-calibre hockey to our community but also highlights the incredible facilities we have at the Jon Baillie Arena and the Port Coquitlam Community Centre. We look forward to seeing our arena filled with enthusiastic fans from across the region."

The Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC), a vibrant hub on the edge of downtown, is proud to host these premier junior hockey games. Located at 2150 Wilson Ave., the PCCC boasts three arenas, including a spectator arena with seating for 751 (total viewing capacity of 843), a gymnasium, leisure pool, fitness centre, and much more. Its modern amenities and central location make it an ideal venue for large-scale events.

Tickets for the pre-season game are available now online and can be purchased at VancouverGiants.com/tickets. Tickets are $16 each, including tax.

Approximately 750 tickets will be available for this special pre-season game, and all seating will be general admission on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Tickets must be purchased online, as there will be no tickets available for sale at the door. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, for the 7:00 p.m. game.
