- Strong winds tonight and into Friday morning
- Moderate rain with amounts from 20 to 40 mm
Stay safe and get prepared for fall storms:
- Charge up your devices — due to strong winds, power outages are possible
- Drive with caution — water may pool on roads, poor traction due to fallen leaves is possible, and visibility is reduced during heavy rain
- Help clear catch basins — if drains are blocked, localized flooding may occur as strong winds scatter leaves and cause water buildup
- Avoid or be extra cautious around rivers, creeks, and potentially unstable banks — a high streamflow advisory is also in effect
