To prevent localized flooding, Coast Meridian Road from Lincoln Avenue to Patricia Avenue is closed until further notice.
Please use an alternate route. Do not drive through road closures or flooded roadways.
City crews are actively working to improve conditions in this area, as well as working to prevent localized flooding throughout Port Coquitlam. An excavator is stationed at the site to remove debris as it arrives downstream.
Sandbags are available for residents at Cedar Park and Public Works Yard.
Reminder that the BC River Forecast Centre has issued a Flood Watch Warning affecting Port Coquitlam. Avoid rivers, creeks and potentially unstable banks, drive with caution.
