Snow Update #2 (March 10, 2026 | 11:50am): 90% of first priority routes have been plowed and salted, and 50% of second priority routes have been plowed and salted. With the snow stopping now, crews will catch up quickly.

Check out the Snow Plow Tracker at portcoquitlam.ca/snow. We're among the first municipalities in Canada to introduce an innovative Snowplow Tracker, powered by a uniquely designed telematics system for winter operations.

Snow Update #1 (March 10, 2026 | 10am): The snow has begun! Staff have been out applying brine and salt to priority roads, sidewalks and walkways in the downtown core and other high‑traffic pedestrian areas. We're continuing to respond as the snow is coming down.

“Being prepared and proactive is essential during snow events," said Brad West, Port Coquitlam Mayor. "Keeping roads and key routes accessible is a core municipal responsibility, and City crews are on it, monitoring conditions and responding where needed to support community safety."
