Environment Canada has issued a Yellow Warning for Rainfall. Heavy rain is expected to begin after midnight tonight and continue through the day on Friday. This is the first storm in a series of wet and windy weather ahead.

- Clearing catch basins and sweeping streets
- Inspecting culverts
- Positioning equipment
- Monitoring conditions
What you can do:
- Help clear storm drains of fallen leaves in your neighbourhood
- Report City service issues to us at portcoquitlam.ca/report
- Allow for extra travel time and drive with care during extreme conditions
- Stay clear of fast-flowing rivers, creeks, and potentially unstable riverbanks
- Never a bad idea to have flashlights ready and devices charged!
